NU meal delivery is a gourmet healthy ready to eat meal delivery program designed especially for you keeping in mind your various goals ranging from weight loss to living a healthy lifestyle. Your meals are prepared fresh and delivered right to your door. Simply heat and enjoy!

NU meals are nutritionally-balanced, portion controlled and are customized specific to your needs. We strive for excellence by serving handcrafted gourmet calorie-controlled meals using only the leanest proteins, freshest produce and highest quality ingredients. All our meals are rich in antioxidants and superfoods. Our meals do not contain any chemical preservatives, additives or trans-fat. 

Our gourmet meal delivery service has the best tasting menu in the market. We have a 28-day menu rotation that provides the most variety encompassing different cuisines of world having a unique blend of nutrients with herbs & spices to stimulate naturally the digestive juices for better gut health.

It’s easy for you to track your daily intake as every meal and snack is labeled with its own individual Nutritional Facts.

  1. NU plans are in accordance with the guidelines of American Dietetic Association (ADA). Our nutrition plans include the best of main food groups – lean proteins, fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy, good fats and low glycemic carbs.

    Our professional team of dieticians & chef create every meal tailored just for you. The calorie distribution is based on the right amount of carbohydrates, proteins and fats to maximize health benefits.

Programs

First step is to contact our customer service team to satisfy any queries if you have. NU understands there is no one size fits all and to understand you, your lifestyle & your goals, customer service will book one on one consultation with dietitian.  The consultation will include your assessment, agreement on the plan recommended by our dietician and the number of days per week you want your meals delivered.

Once you have done that you get to the best part – you get to choose your menu for each day including 3 gourmet meals and 2 snacks.  Our executive chef & team prepares the choicest dishes selected by you. Every morning your fresh supply of meals will be delivered to your doorstep and the Healthy Meal Delivery driver will collect the previous cooler bag that was delivered.  Once you have received your food just place in the refrigerator until you are ready to consume. Then just heat and enjoy.

Remember your nutritional needs are specific to your body type, age, gender, your training & so on. During the consultation the dietician will discuss the suitable plan & will recommend the calories based on your health profile.

Orders

The meal plan recommended must be prepaid before the first delivery by cash, debit/credit card or secure online payment method.

Food is like a drug; you have to take the right dose at the right time! Proper timings for consuming each and every meal & snack will be discussed with you at the time of consultation. Also, timings will be mentioned on your daily menu.

Our customer service department / Personnel will be contacting you by an email or by phone to let you know your program is coming to an end. Book an appointment for follow up on your progress.  At that time you can renew/ extend the services.

We take pride in providing you with the highest quality of food service possible. As you know, your meals are prepared fresh every single day.  Please contact your customer service at least 3 calendar days prior to the day you want your service temporarily suspended by email at cs@nufoods.ae or call us . We will suspend your deliveries for the dates you provide us, to the best of our ability.

The total number of suspended days will then be added to the end date of your program. If you have suspended your program without knowing your restart date, we require 3 calendar days’ notice to recommence your healthy meal Delivery service.

However, if you do not call or email us 3 days’ prior, your food program will be submitted without adjustments and prepared as usual and unfortunately we will not be able to provide a credit.

If you are not satisfied with either the product or service provided by NU, we will provide you with a refund. We require 3-calendar days’ notice prior to cancellation; you will be refunded for any unused portion of your program less 25% handling and administration fee. All programs purchased with a promotional rate and cancelled prior to the completion of the program, are subject to be charged the non-promotional price (regular price) for days delivered. Refunds will be issued in accordance with the payment method on record within 30 days of receipt of cancellation.

Yes. We will need 3 business days’ notice prior to your delivery date. Customer service will contact you regarding possible delivery time at new address in order to ensure your food gets delivered to the right address and at right time, for you not to experience a delay in the receipt of your healthy meal delivery cooler bag.

Delivery

Meals will be delivered in the morning on daily basis at scheduled address and time.

All of our NU meals are prepared FRESH, packaged and sealed in special containers, then delivered in an insulated cooler bag packed with an icepack in chiller vans to maintain the utmost quality and meet the highest standards of safety. You just need to keep the food refrigerated from receiving time till consumption. This allows the meals to stay fresher longer.

Yes of course, Just inform your customer service either by phone or by email at least 3 calendar days prior to the day you want your service to be suspended temporarily, mentioning the dates of travel every time before you travel.

Remember, payment made for one-month package is valid for 90days from the date of payment.

 Cooler bags and icepacks must be returned DAILY in similar condition as they were delivered. Do not return the bags with anything but our icepacks left in them. Please leave the bag(s) out each night, our driver will pick it up when he delivers your next Healthy Meals.

For any unreturned bag/ ice pack, a re-stocking fees of AED25/bag and AED 10/set of icepacks will apply if you discontinue the service. At the conclusion of your program, If the bag is not left out, AED25 fee will be charged to your account.

Lifestyle

You should most definitely eat all meals that are delivered and scheduled for each day. NU team makes sure that your daily nutritional requirements are met. Your meal plan has been designed to provide you with essential nutrients necessary based on your goal. To get maximum benefit from our plans, please respect the timings of consuming meals as advised.

Drinking one to two glasses of water before your meals will help with any hunger you may be feeling. Generally, the first 2 weeks of our program you will notice some hunger pangs and subsequently, the food cravings will fade as your body gets used to the calories that you are consuming. Sometimes we mistake our body as it being hungry, in reality it is dehydrated. Make sure you are drinking lots of water, as this will also help flush toxins from your system.

If you are still very hungry, during the first 2 weeks of transition, you can add raw or steamed veggies to your meals. Green vegetables are loaded with fiber, water, and nutrients, but are very low in calories. If you wish to use any dressing for the salad, we recommend vinaigrette dressing or lemon juice. This provides a good way to add bulk to your meals without sabotaging your results.

Alcohol can be consumed in moderation- 1 glass of red wine per day, but you must omit a snack from the days’ meals. Remember that alcohol and caloric beverages like juice or soda not only add calories, but raise insulin levels, which can hamper your results.

YES! Fitness is a way of life. Everyone benefits from exercise regardless of age, sex or physical ability. Physical activity can lead to a happier, healthier you. The health benefits of regular exercise and physical activity are hard to ignore like

  1. Exercise can help prevent weight gain.
  2. Exercise delivers oxygen and nutrients to your tissues and helps your cardiovascular system work more efficiently. It keeps your blood flowing smoothly, which decreases your risk of cardiovascular diseases.
  3. Regular exercise helps prevent or manage a wide range of health problems and concerns, including stroke, metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, depression, a number of types of cancer, arthritis and falls.
  4. Physical activity stimulates various brain chemicals that may leave you feeling happier and more relaxed.  It also boosts your confidence and improve your self-esteem.
  5. Regular physical activity can improve your muscle strength and boost your endurance.
  6. Regular physical activity can help you fall asleep faster and deepen your sleep.

Find a physical activity you enjoy, and Space out your activities throughout the week. Remember to check with your doctor before starting a new exercise program, especially if you haven’t exercised for a long time, have chronic health problems, such as heart disease, diabetes or arthritis, or you have any concerns.

Preparation

We recommend that you remove the food and place it on a microwave safe glass container before microwaving it. Heat the food from the containers that are labeled as heat before eat. If applicable, we recommend heating your meal; after removing any fruit or sauce containers and heat for 2-3 minutes depending on the power of your microwave. Since there is nutritious destructiveness because of microwave oven to some extent, avoid using microwave if possible.

Meals are prepared to be eaten for the days they are delivered. Meals will be safe to consume within 2 days and we would recommend the meal to be consumed before the expiry date.

If you have any food allergies, please inform to the dietician during consultation. She will decide whether you can sign up or not. If she will accommodate, strictly follow the instructions given by her while choosing the menu.

For moderate to severe gluten allergies we cannot recommend meal plans for you. We do have Non-coeliac gluten sensitive menu for people with mild gluten allergy, but this menu will be provided only at the discretion of our dietician.
